Products & Applications

What does Technocraft Textiles manufacture? +
Technocraft Textiles (SMC Pvt) Ltd manufactures textile warp sizing chemicals — starch-based and synthetic co-polymer agents used to coat yarn before weaving. Our range includes Nashasta (potato starch), Sigma Size BP-017 (synthetic co-polymer / PVA alternative), Organo Size series, SofTec series, and Potenza Size series. All 17 products under these families are covered by our ZDHC MRSL V3.1 Level 3 certificate.
Are your products a replacement for PVA sizing agents? +
Yes. Sigma Size BP-017 and our other synthetic and starch-based systems are positioned as cost-effective, more biodegradable alternatives to traditional PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) and acrylic sizing agents. They are designed for mills that need documented performance and compliance for export markets, including the EU.
Which fibers and loom types do your sizing agents support? +
Our products are formulated for natural fibers, man-made fibers, and blends. Sigma Size BP-017 is commonly used on high-speed air-jet looms. For fiber-specific recommendations (cotton, polyester, viscose, blends) and viscosity/grade selection, contact our technical team or request the relevant product data sheet.
What is the difference between Nashasta, Sigma Size, Organo Size, and SofTec? +
Nashasta is a natural potato starch sizing agent. Sigma Size BP-017 is a synthetic co-polymer (PVA alternative) supplied as a white powder. Organo Size (T-100 to T-500) is a multi-grade powder series. SofTec (S-10, S-20, S-30, D-10) is a liquid multi-grade series. Potenza Size (T-10 to T-60) is an additional certified powder family. Choice depends on fiber, process, and cost/compliance targets — we can help you select the right grade.

Compliance & Documentation

Do you have ZDHC certification? +
Yes. Technocraft Textiles holds a ZDHC MRSL V3.1 Level 3 Certificate of Conformance (Certificate No. VI-ZDHC-L3-2026-0021), issued by Veris Impact on 4 August 2026 and valid until 3 August 2028. It covers 17 products across our sizing agent families for textile, apparel, leather, and footwear processing.
Can I get SDS / MSDS documents? +
Yes. Safety Data Sheets are available for our documented products. You can request SDS from the Downloads page or via the Contact form (select “Request SDS / Technical Data”). REACH-referenced documentation is part of our standard technical package.
Are your products suitable for EU export mills? +
Our positioning and documentation (ZDHC MRSL Level 3, REACH-referenced SDS) are aimed at mills supplying price- and compliance-sensitive markets, including the EU. Always confirm the latest certificate and SDS with us for your specific product and destination market.

Ordering & Support

How do I request a quotation or sample? +
Use the Request Quotation page to select products and quantities, or the Contact form (choose “Request a Quote” or “Request a Sample”). Include fiber type, loom type, and monthly volume if known — that helps us respond with relevant grades and pricing.
What packaging and shelf life should I expect? +
Sigma Size BP-017 is typically supplied in 25 kg bags with a shelf life of 6 months in original packaging when stored below 40°C away from direct sunlight. Nashasta (potato starch) should be stored tightly closed, dry, and below 40°C. Packaging and shelf life for other grades are confirmed on the product SDS and quotation.
